Proudly supporting the Families of the 10th Mountain Division, Mountain Community Homes includes four separate communities tied together with an interactive walking and biking trail system. A centrally-located, 7,500 sq. foot community center is at the heart of each community, each with a state-of-the-art fitness center, indoor playground, Wi-Fi Lounge, Internet Café, meeting spaces, Great Room and dedicated community management team. Convenient Destination Playgrounds are located throughout each neighborhood, plus residents enjoy the “Bark” Park, Pitch ‘n Putt Greens, Splash Parks, Skate Parks and BMX Track. As part of the project, the first ever, housing for single and unaccompanied Soldiers (E-6 and above), The Timbers, is now available. One of five communities of its type Army-wide, The Timbers offers residents the convenience of modern, hassle-free living, the camaraderie of living with other Soldiers all in an exclusive apartment community on Fort Drum. The 192 suite-style, one and two bedroom ENERGY STAR apartments feature spacious, open floor plans, sleek, black appliances, full-sized washer and dryer, private bedroom suites, stylish finishes and more.
