Army Hawaii Family Housing & Actus Lend Lease Featured On National Television Program
Planet Green, the first and only 24-hour eco-lifestyle television network, visits Army Hawaii Family Housing.
Sustainable initiatives taking place throughout development, design and construction once again drew national interest, this time from the producers of Renovation Nation, which airs on Discovery’s Planet Green TV station.
Program Host Steve Thomas, formerly of the PBS series, This Old House, along with his crew spent two full days at the AHFH project filming and interviewing AHFH and Actus leadership and staff, subcontractors and families. Dozens of staff members and subcontractors spent nearly two weeks preparing for the shoot, which resulted in a 15-minute segment.
Planet Green is the first and only 24-hour eco-lifestyle television network with a robust online presence and community, reaching 50 million homes. By representing a broad range of ideas and perspectives, Planet Green is taking an active role in generating conversation and motivating individuals to take action when it comes to improving the environmental status of our planet.
